STAGES.

The main stages of an Ace Hackathon.

Hackathon Registration
Stage 1
Register & Engage

Registration: Participants register for the event and attend orientation sessions to understand the hackathon’s theme, rules, and expectations.

Workshops: We engage participants with educational workshops covering relevant topics, including technology insights, design thinking, and project management.

Interactive Sessions: We host interactive sessions like AMA (Ask Me Anything) and fireside chats to address participant queries.

Community Building: Foster community engagement through online forums, team-building activities, and networking opportunities to encourage collaboration and idea exchange.

Engagement through Workshops, Ask Me Anything sessions, Assignments, Mini Challenges, Coding challenges.
Stage 2
Design & Iterate

Design Sprint Kickoff: We kickstart the design phase with a sprint workshop, providing participants with tools and methodologies to brainstorm and refine their ideas.

Expert Guidance: We offer mentorship sessions and expert panels for continuous feedback and guidance on design, product architecture, technology stacks, and project viability.

Resource Support: We’ll provide access to resources, prototyping tools, and technical documentation, to aid teams in their design and iteration process.

Iterative Development: Encourage iterative development through feedback loops, mock pitches, and peer review sessions to refine prototypes and enhance user experience.

Evaluation through Panel of Judges and Auto-Graders.
Stage 3
Build & Test

Prototype Development: Participants start to build prototypes or minimum viable products (MVPs) that demonstrate the core functionality of their solutions with support from technical workshops and coding challenges.

Peer Review Sessions: We facilitate peer review sessions where teams can showcase their progress, exchange feedback, and learn from each other's experiences.

Iterative Development: We encourage iterative development processes, where teams continuously refine and improve their prototypes based on user feedback and testing results.

Tech Talks: We organize tech talks or webinars on advanced topics, emerging technologies, or industry trends to inspire participants and expand their technical knowledge.

Leaderboard.
Stage 4
Submit & Celebrate!

Submission Deadline: A deadline is set for participants to submit their final prototypes, accompanied by documentation and demo videos, for evaluation.

Judging Process: A rigorous judging process is conducted based on predefined criteria, including innovation, technical execution, user experience, and feasibility.

Leaderboard: Winners are announced during a celebratory event, recognizing outstanding achievements with prizes, certificates, and special mentions.

Post-Event Engagement: We then facilitate post-event networking opportunities, feedback collection, and knowledge sharing to foster continued learning, collaboration, and community growth.

Evaluation criteria
EVALUATION CRITERIA.

Our hackathons and competitions cover a spectrum of talents, each with its own set of evaluation criteria. Programming competitions emphasize coding efficiency, algorithmic prowess, and problem-solving acumen. In electronics and robotics challenges, participants are assessed on the functionality, innovation, and craftsmanship of their hardware creations. Design contests prioritize elements like aesthetics, user experience, and creativity in visual communication.

It's important to note that these criteria can vary not only across different types of competitions but also within the same category depending on specific goals and objectives. For detailed evaluation criteria, please refer to the respective competition's page.
